Tom Richards

- Personal Trainer & Owner of Tom Richards Personal Training Ltd.

 

 Tom is the sole Owner & Director of Tom Richards Personal Training Ltd. With a strong background in competitive sport, he developed the knowledge about Training, Nutrition, Fitness and mental focus necessary to drive himself to be able to compete with some of the best Athletes in Great Britain - A notion which led him to attaining 4th Place at the British Under 17 Athletics Championships in the discipline of Javelin, in 2009. After completing his A - Levels at St Marks Sixth Form in Harlow, he decided he wanted to set up his own Sports Business, helping other people to achieve their own Fitness Goals through the use of his extensive first hand knowledge in the Industry.

 

 Naturally, this led him towards the progression of becoming a Freelance Personal Trainer. He then found WABBA Qualifications, The World Governing Body of Weight Training Instructors and Personal Trainers, with their Qualifications recognised in over 80 different Countries. Tom completed all course material with near perfect scores across all areas of study, and began as a sole trader in August 2012 in Harlow. In August 2015, Tom turned his business into a limited company and subsequently expanded, in order to continue to provide services to a greater amount of people. Tom is also a fully certified First Aider from St John's Ambulance Training Courses.

Daniel Yaxley

– Personal Trainer

 

 'A very committed and determined individual, I have always enjoyed new challenges and meeting new individuals with the same passion towards Health and Fitness as I do. I’ve always been highly involved in sport and participating whenever possible, allowing me to learn and improve my own skills and knowledge, which in turn I can pass on to other individuals who desire real results, regardless of age or ability.

 

I first started my career by completing my 2 year National Diploma at Harlow College with a triple Distinction mark. I immediately moved into an apprenticeship with Lifetime Fitness, in which I completed my Level 2 Fitness Instructor course, before moving on and achieving my Level 3 Personal Trainer course. Over this period I gained a huge amount of both technical and practical knowledge as to how to meet an individual’s goal, as well as a strong understanding as to the importance of guidance and motivation required in order to progress through each step of their Health & Fitness journey. I also hold fully certified First Aider Status.

 

For a long time I was involved at a high level in Athletics for Woodford Green AC alongside Tom,  having also represented Essex County Track and Field over a 10 year period, and regularly being among the top UK rankings. Since finishing this sport, I have become fully committed into my Gym training and aim to push myself in each session to the best of my abilities, both in weight training and Cardiovascular disciplines. Being a very competitive person, I’m always looking for, and thrive on, the next challenge.'

Alex Hill

 'Driven, competitive, motivated England International athlete (400m hurdles), University of Bath graduate, Fitness instructor, Personal Trainer and all – round Health and Fitness enthusiast. I am passionate about the health and fitness sector with a huge interest in motivating and helping others to be the best they can be, and achieving their fitness goals. Through 10 years + of competitive, elite sport I have become a driven, committed individual. I love a challenge and have always employed a wide range of  training styles and techniques to suit each individual to ensure they enjoy their training as much as they do their results. I have worked with clients who require fat loss, functional training for specific sports and individuals who are just starting out on their fitness journey.'
